Why Some Don't Get Results

I have been in practice now for over 30 years. I have always wondered why some people get results and others don't. When I was doing primarily Gonstead it was easy for me to blame it on the patient moving wrong or too quickly after the adjustment. Or, I didn't get to the right segment or did not get as good an adjustment as was needed. At that point, it was purely a mechanical issue.
Since studying BEST (Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique) and searching the scriptures regarding healing, I have realized that there is so much more involved. Now I realize that I as the doctor play such a very small role in the healing process. At the beginning, it was a real blow to the ego. Now it is one of the most exciting discoveries I have had in my life! I am there almost as a coach to help my patients find the obstacles to their own health and help them reach new levels of health spiritually, emotionally and physically.

We are responsible for our health. We can go blindly thinking that what we do, say, think, feel, experience, etc... has nothing to do with our health and there are these little bugs, germs, or cancers that attack us. Or, we can seek to understand who and what we are.

One huge revelation the Lord gave me this year is that those who don't get the results they are looking for are usually those who are not willing or refuse to take responsibility for their thoughts.
When I adjust someone I am amazed at how some are blown away at how their very thoughts can change the strength in their body, the tightness of their muscles, and the pain. When that happens, I know there is hope!

Other times when I adjust and the person does not believe it and they question EVERY aspect of the adjustment, I know there will be issues with them getting well. I feel sorry for them. They seem more interested in where my hand was when I tested the muscle;  if they were ready; or was I truly using the same amount of strength while testing. They usually have a fixed idea in their mind that I need to "pop" a certain bone or DO something to THEM that will make them well. Basically they want me to do everything, They would prefer to not have any role other than paying the money for the treatment. In fact, if they could just drop off their body for a couple of weeks and then pick it up without having done anything, it would be a perfect situation.

On the other hand, when I get to adjust that person who wants to participate in their healing and who begins to realize that THEY have the ability to change how their body works it is more exciting than this post allows me to express. Some of you reading this are those individuals. You have learned that there is hope! You are willing to change your thoughts! You are willing to make changes that changes the very physiology of your body!

I compliment you!

Please return to this blog as we go deeper! Praise be to the Lord of Lords!

Returning to the Path

Have you ever fallen off the path?
I have! I hate to admit it but it happened. Don't worry, I am back on. I took about 2 - 3 weeks where I really did not watch what I was eating or when I was eating. Did I notice a difference? ABSOLUTELY!
I would like to blame it on a number of reasons and people but I can't. You see, it all comes back to me. I have to have the discipline to do what I know is right even if everyone else is doing something else. WOW! What a concept. I understand that when it comes to sin. Why haven't I been able to transfer that over to my diet.
Pure - lack of discipline.
Two days ago I decided I have to get back on the program. I began to drink my protein drink. I had an incredible salad and immediately felt a huge difference.
This morning I went into the gym and weighed. I am back at 265. It feels so good to be back on the path.
How are you doing?
